Custom-Bilt
Metals was incorporated in 1974 as a
result of recognizing the need for a
distributor of rain ware products to
the SEAMLESS gutter industry in Southern
California. After four short years,
we realized that other market places
on the West Coast would be receptive
to the philosophy of quality and service
rather than competing in a "commodity
minded" industry. Our first expansion
was to Seattle, then to Northern California,
Portland and Phoenix soon followed.
As we matured, we added Standing Seam
Roofing to our product line, employing
the same concept of onsite roll forming
that brought the gutter industry to
the success it enjoys today. In 1989,
we expanded to the Midwest by acquiring
branches in Dallas, Houston, New Orleans,
Memphis, Tulsa, and Kansas City. At
that time, we established our position
with the highest quality products and
an excellence in service unequaled by
anyone. In 1990, we recognized the need
to distribute multiple profiles in the
Metal Roofing shingle and shake industry.
Our latest expansions include Spokane
in 1994, and Honolulu in 1996. We now
cover every market in the Western States,
including Hawaii and Alaska, and a major
portion of Mid-America as well as sales
on an international level.
In the last
30 years, we have steadily grown our
business, both gutter and roofing, to
what Custom-Bilt Metals has become today.
With the growth of the residential and
commercial metal roofing industry, CBM
made their most significant move in
early 2004.
Custom-Bilt Metals, in an
agreement with Vail Metals Systems,
was licensed to manufacture, market,
and sell one of the industry's most
recognized metal roofing shingle product,
which includes choices of copper, and
painted steel and aluminum.
Currently,
our management team has a combined 400+
years of experience in the construction
industry. Each of our branches is directed
by a general manager with the knowledge
and authority to satisfy everyone of
our customer's needs. We are currently
members or sponsored by the following
affiliations: Energy Star Partner, Metal
Roofing Alliance(MRA), National Roofing
Contractors Association(NRCA), Western
States Roofing Contractors Association(WSRCA),
Roofing Contractors Association of Texas(RCA),
Construction Services Institute(CSI),
and Metal Construction Association(MCA).
